Our cleaning products were making us sick, both figuratively and literally. Traci Verbaarschott who has three children, started wondering about the chemicals in the make-up of her everyday cleaning products when she noticed how much time kids spend picking stuff up off the floor... For Kimberly Jones, mother of one, cleaning with too much bleach one Sunday afternoon resulted in a loss of olfactory senses for two days.
Like many of you, we were dissatisfied with the harsh chemicals and odors associated with most commercial cleaning products. There had to be a better way. Understanding the vast benefits of aromatherapy, or the practice of using plant oils to clean and freshen, we were able to source manufacturers who produce impressively effective products that are good for the environment and smell great! We then married our love of cleaning with these natural products and aromaids® was born.
